Petrol Vibes F1 1988 Classic Silhouette Unboxing

After months of eyeing these beauties up on Instagram, I took the plunge and bought my first F1 metal art. I went for the extra small F1 1988 Classic Silhouette from Petrol Vibes, mainly because if it was a scam, then I’d have lost less money.

The artwork is made from 2mm of steel and feels quite smooth on the public side as it’s been hand-polished. One of my biggest questions was how to mount it on a wall. There are four screws with little brackets on. Two screws are in the centre-top, and one is at each end. I’ve not hung it up yet, as I’m expecting to move home soon, but as I’m in a new place, this will be part of Higher Plain Racing’s backdrop.

I really like the metal art, and with the first-order discount, I think it is a fairly good price. I’d love one of their neon track map signs, but that’ll have to wait for another time. What do you think?
