The IndyCar season kicks off at St. Petersburg this weekend, and 25 drivers are looking for glory. Whilst the technical regulations are stable, driver moves, and off-season narratives have built up this season as being potentially a highly spicy one.
Some high-level questions include:
- Will Alex Palou get four crowns in a row?
- Will Pato O’Ward, Scott Dixon, Scott McLaughlin, or someone else mount a title challenge?
- Can Will Power settle in at Andretti after 17 seasons at Penske?
- Can Team Penske get back on their feet again?
- Hauger, Collet, and Schumacher – who will win Rookie Of The Year?
- Can Armstrong, Rosenqvist, Rossi, Malukas, or Lundgaard transition to the big league?
- Can Josef Newgarden and Marcus Ericsson bounce back from a bad 2025?
